I think it would be really amazing to have a natural childbirth, but I just don't know that I have the confidence that it's the right choice for me...at this point I'm planning on an epidural. I've heard plenty of good and bad about epidurals and natural births, so who really knows what the best option is. I think it's different for everyone, and probably a choice you have to re-evaluate with each pregnancy.
What have your experiences been? Which birthing methods/classes did you use?

ReplyDeleteI have always wanted to do a full natural birth but I totally opted for the epidurals when I had to be induced twice. I felt nothing with the first one and it was cool but weird. IWith the second, I felt every single bit of pain with that birth but I decided I liked it!! I was full of adrenaline afterward and it felt so raw and gratifying that I just did that myself (think running a marathon ;-) ). I also loved being in charge of myself. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but I think I will try for natural next time whether I'm induced or not!
